Stem cell therapy customized for each breed

Anicom Medical Center has placenta-derived stem cells for each breed of companion animal. We are trying to minimize excessive high immune reaction and hypersensitivity by matching stem cell according to the breed of dog and cat which needs stem cell treatment.

02

Placenta-derived stem cell therapy

Anicom Medical Center is isolating stem cells from the placenta. Since it was isolated from the placenta, it has no epigenetic mutation compared to adult stem cells and has immune tolerance, enabling safer treatment and high stability.

  • Stem cells isolated from the placenta.

It has an effect similar to that of adipose stem cells, but has immune tolerance and does not cause an immune reaction, allowing for safer and more stable treatment.

It has been proven to have neurological, immune, and anti-inflammatory effects, such as effectively reducing inflammation that often occurs in diseases caused by aging, such as Alzheimer's disease and Parkinson's disease.

It has been proven through many studies that placenta-derived stem cells are effective in neurological diseases, diseases caused by aging, and immune related diseases by regulating tissue regeneration and bioregulatory factors.

Since a large amount of stem cells can be isolated from the placenta, a stable quality of stem cells can be maintained compared to that from other sources.

Application of Stem Cells
  • Depending on the disease of the companion animal, stem cell treatment is customized to each disease. Please check the following treatment methods and refer to them when consulting

    • Neurological Degenerative Disease
    • In application of stem cells to brain degenerative diseases such as Parkinson's disease, amyotrophic sclerosis, and Alzheimer's disease, stem cells become progenitor cells after division to maintain neuron function, and induce neuroprotection, and behavioral recovery.
    • Visual disorder
    • Stem cells are transplanted into the damaged cornea to help repairing and restore vision.
    • Wound healing
    • Stem cells have a regenerative effect by replacing damaged skin such as hair follicle damage or skin tissue damage to normal skin tissue.
    • Brain and spinal cord injuries
    • Stroke and traumatic brain injury caused by damage to neurons and cells in the brain can be treated through stem cells.
